First of all, is that the seats are higher, and more comfortable.. Most ppl have the image of short ppl when they think of Japanese, right? Well, from this point of view, I think GSC and TGV have the image that Malaysians are more "chibi" than Japanese.. hehe..
Secondly, we all know how polite the Japanese are, don't we? In the cinema, however, they are
Another thing is that they don't leave straight away after the movie ends.. They wait till all the credits end.. It could be because the lights are only turned on after the credits, or they love the credits and the soundtracks.. heh.. Again, a Malaysian would just walk out once the movie finishes and enters the credits (this could be because the lights are turned on once it finishes).. There's also the thing with copyright in Japan though... perhaps they feel it worth their 1000yen(RM30), 1800yen without discount, if they watch everything..but in Malaysia you can watch a movie for Rm8, or even download it from the net, or buy a high quality DVD at RM8 and then download the soundtracks on net, or buy the OST CD at pasar malam for RM5..
Another thing about Japanese cinemas is that they only release blockbuster movies(for hollywood).. the small time movies only come out later.. but some blockbusters also dont come out that fast.. well, since it's so expensive anyways, nvm lor..
Have fun at the movies!! if u ever go..
