I bought this for 300 yen(RM9) at the supermarket yesterday.. It's a type of grape called Kyoho in Japanese. Translating from above,it is called the King of Grapes and is a very popular type of grape in Japan. It is of a beautiful deep purple colour and also has a good taste, making it a hit among Japanese. It is mainly produced in Yamagata Prefecture and the Kyoho season is from middle of August to September.

The one I bought was produced in Niigata Prefecture. Probably the same one Joann and Pik Yee picked the other day? damn, it tasted great. Sasuga budou no ousama da!(As expected from the king of grapes!) can't understand why those two girls couldn't eat more than one bunch..

From the outside, it looked like any other grape.. but when you bite into it, the shokkan (er.. eating feeling? haha.. no direct translation) is just so heavenly.. the fruit is so soft and juicy and yet it is still hard enough to not melt straight away in your mouth. tastes soooooooo goood..

It was so good I couldn't help finishing the whole 400 grams up.. I hope I can still buy it next week at the supermarket. >.< Believe me, you've got to try it!

Note: I might take some time to upload on Hokkaido.. Please be patient..
