My Masterpiece

Since it's the summer holiday already, I'll have to cook on my own.. the canteen won't be open.. Well, this has to be the best thing I've cooked up so far.. heh.. It's called Hiyashi Soba (Cold Soba).Today I'll add a recipe..
What do you need:
Hiyashi Soba from the supermarket 66 yen
One stick(??) of Cucumber 29 yen
A few pieces of roast ham, or just ham.. around 100 yen
An egg 7 yen
A few streaks of cheese(optional)
Budget: around 210 yen

How do you make it:
now u might have noticed cheese in the ingredients.. must be wondering why.. *wink* well, first of all, boil up some water and then put the soba inside the boiling water for about 3 minutes or so.. Then, take it out of the water with a sieve and then rinse it with cold water.. After that, (you can do this beforehand) cut up the cucumber and ham into small pieces(depends on u).. Then, crack the egg and scramble it.. put some streaks of cheese into the egg and scramble them up*, then fry it..then, cut up the egg..There should be sauce and furikake(seasoning) for the hiyashi soba that u bought,so pour it on the soba and the other ingredients.. if not, you can use tsuyu(a type of jap soy sauce)..that's it! itadakimasu!

*this is a new recipe i tried since i had leftover cheese from the failed spaghetti soup..last time i tried to mix with milk, but it wasnt that nice.. but with cheese... goodness, it tastes good.. if u want more taste, put a bit more cheese.. but calvin is on strict diet.. so kolien.. haha..

and for desert... jeng jeng jeng...

It's fuji apple.. quite nice.. but I somehow miss the fuji apples they sold at the pasar malam in kl..although i think they taste almost the same..

Now for my chocolate post.. another desert, really.. heh.. this is the Meiji Chocolate Noir.. Ecuador Blend.. it is made up of 70% cocoa.. so it has quite a dark taste and quite bitter.. I loveee bitter choc.. heh

Price: 187 yen
